Police in Bloomfield are investigating a shoplifting incident that occurred at the Brookdale Shoprite at 1409 Broad Street in Bloomfield on August 14 at approximately 11:30 a.m.
According to police, the male entered the Shoprite, selected numerous grocery items, including an air conditioner, and then left without rendering payment for the items he selected.
The total value for Shoplifting is estimated to be $339.94.
Police said that the suspect is described as a white male and tall, with black hair. He was wearing a gray tee shirt, blue jean shorts, gray socks, black Nike sneakers, white Covid masks and black sunglasses.
He was operating a 2016 Ford Mustang Coupe with an expired CA registration 8WBR023. The Hood is held down with a strap.
