BLOOMFIELD, NJ -- Mayor Michael Venezia and the Township Council will be holding a Public Forum on Monday, August 19 at 6:00pm in the Civic Center at 84 Broad St. to discuss the findings of recent lead tests in Bloomfield’s water connection systems and individuals’ houses, as well as inform residents how they can reduce their risk of lead exposure.
Township engineers and officials from the Health Department will be on hand to answer any questions.
This meeting will also be livestreamed on Facebook via the Township’s official page @bloomfieldtwpnj.
The Township is continuing to offer free lead tests to any residents concerned about potential lead build-up in faucets and plumbing fixtures of their homes. Residents can schedule a lead test or get additional information by calling 973-680-4024.
