BLOOMFIELD, NJ --Continuing a cherished local tradition, Mayor Michael Venezia will host his fourth annual Thanksgiving Turkey Give-Away this Sunday, November 24, from 10:00 am- 12:00 pm in the back parking lot of Town Hall, 1 Municipal Plaza.
The Mayor will be giving out turkeys and food baskets with members of the Department of Human Services.
Approximately 500 families have already registered with the department to receive turkeys.
Food baskets for registered recipients who do not arrive by noon will be given to other attendees and existing clients of the Department of Human Services, as well as local food banks.
