A bicyclist suffered severe injuries after being struck by a vehicle on a roadway in Monroe Township on Thursday night.
It happened around 9:28 p.m. near the intersection of Nathaniel Street and Schoolhouse Road.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and found the unidentified person ejected from the bike and on the side of the road.
According to reports, the victim suffered a severe head injury and was rushed to Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center for treatment.
Police have not confirmed if the driver stayed at the scene at this time.
The incident is under investigation.
