Clark police are investigating several calls received earlier today where an alleged led United States Treasury representative requests money in exchange of stopping impending legal actions.
According to police, within the last hour, the Clark Police Department has received several calls in regards to a phone scam.
Several residents have been contacted by an individual with a heavy accent who purports to be from the United States Treasury Department.
The call is coming from a number that ends in 7907 and appears on caller ID units with a Broadway NY NY address.
The caller then asks the party to wire them money to stop impending legal action.
If you recieve a call like this, do NOT give out any personal information or transfer any money.
Remember, government agencies will never contact you in this manner.
