Ridgewood Police are investigating the motive behind a stabbing that injured a man on Monday night.
Officers were dispatched t the 30's block of Chestnut Street to investigate reports of an assault in progress.
Police found a man suffering two stab wounds in his stomach upon arrival.
The victim was transported to Hackensack Medical Center for treatment and is expected to recover.
Authorities announced no arrests in the stabbing.
