Authorities in Bergen County announced the arrest of Delfino Simon-Roca, 56, of Cliffside Park, on charges of explicit contact and endangering the welfare of a child.
Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said the arrest is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Jason Love and the Cliffside Park Police Department under the direction of Chief Marc Marano.
According to officials, on Tuesday, October 24, the Division of Child Protection and Permanency contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding the alleged explicit contact of a juvenile.
Officials stated an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Cliffside Park Police Department revealed that Delfino Simon-Roca had explicit contact with a child in Cliffside Park on three occasions.
As a result of the investigation, officials say, on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, Delfino Simon-Roca was arrested in Cliffside Park and charged with second-degree explicit contact and third-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
Authorities say Simon-Roca was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
