According to Bloomfield Police, a Belleville man was arrested on June 11 for attempted burglary on Watsessing Avenue.
Mr. Ismael Gomez, 25, was apprehended after officers responded to a report of an attempted burglary on the 100 block of Watsessing Avenue.
A resident provided video surveillance showing a male suspect attempting to gain entry into his home through the front door.
When unsuccessful, the suspect tried to enter through a side window but fled when a neighbor started yelling.
Officers located Gomez nearby and placed him under arrest.
He was transported to Bloomfield Police Headquarters for processing, Bloomfield Police said.
