Police in Bayonne assisted Jersey City officers in an early morning search for suspects wanted for a carjacking in Jersey City.
Officers from Jersey City engaged in a foot pursuit along the train tracks on East 22nd Street for two black males wanted for a strong-armed carjacking in their city around 3:35 a.m.
According to reports, the suspects bailed from the car near the Conrail Yard then led officers through that section of Bayonne.
There were no serious injuries reported in the carjacking, and the suspects remain at large.
