The family have identified the 31-year-old Bayonne man struck and killed by a construction loader at a recycling plant.
Officials say Angelo Maietta died in an industrial accident at Lincoln Recycling on Dell Avenue at approximately 10:20 a.m. Saturday.
According to Maietta’s family, he was closing the doors of his truck when the construction loader reversed and struck him.
The incident remains under investigation by police, the Hudson County prosecutor's officer and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
