Authorities in Bayonne are investigating an overnight stabbing that had one person suffering serious injuries in the city.
The incident was reported in the area of JFK Boulevard and West 31st Street shortly before midnight where emergency responders rushed to the area after receiving reports of an injured person at that location.
Arriving police and EMS units located the victim unconscious after being stabbed accruing to reports.
The victim was transported to Bayonne Medical center in critical condition.
Circumstances behind the stabbing has not been released at this time.
