Bayonne authorities are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in a neighborhood in the city last night.
Reports of an armed robbery in progress sent police to the 100 block of West 2nd Street where arriving units located the victim who told them that a black male suspect approached armed with a weapon and demanded personal possessions at around 9 p.m..
The suspect reportedly took a gold chain, iPhone, and cash before running from the scene the victim said.
Police searched the area but there were no reports of any arrests made.
There were no physical injuries reported.
