Township police are alerting parents to check children's Halloween candy as they investigate a recent finding in a candy bar.
Police this evening is investigating a report that a small pin was found in a Kit Kat bar obtained in the TImbers development.
The wrapper was allegedly compromised, adding the candy was not sealed.
At this time there are no other findings reported, added police.
The incident remains under investigation.
