Police reported no injuries in an overnight shooting in Newark.
Gunfire erupted in the vicinity of 221 Rose Street shortly before 12:15 a.m.
Officers located multiple shell casings, but no injuries were reported after searching the area.
Newark shooting response units arrived at the scene to conduct the investigation.
The suspect fled the scene and remained at large.
