Police in Newark report no severe injuries in a shots-fired incident that erupted in a section of Newark's South Ward on Sunday morning.
According to reports, shortly before 4 a.m., police responded to reports of shots fired near the intersection of Bragaw Avenue and Leslie Street.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found shell casings, but during their search, no victims were located.
Police collected other evidence while canvassing the scene, according to authorities.
The suspect fled the scene and is at-large.
