On Sunday evening, several shell casings were recovered at the scene of a shots-fired incident in a section of Newark's South Ward.
Newark Police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the 90's block of Bragaw Avenue around 5:30 p.m.
Units arrived at the scene and taped a section of the street after cops found shell casings in the community.
After searching the street for victims, no injuries were reported.
The suspect fled the scene and has not been captured by police.
