Authorities are investigating whether the mother of a 1-year-old child that was left unattended in a hot car this morning will be facing charges.
A Camden County police officer on foot patrol in the area of 5th and Martin Luther King Boulevard shortly before noon, noticed a 1-year-old child crying inside a locked car.
The officer broke the window and removed the child, police said.
The child was later transported to Cooper University Hospital.
The unidentified mother is being investigated and could face child endangerment charges, according to police.
The child expected to be ok.
