Autopsy Results in the Death of Fetus Found at Recycling Plant in Camden

The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Camden County Police Department reported the results of an autopsy conducted Friday on a deceased fetus found at a Camden business.

A medical examiner determined the fetus was not capable of breathing and died due to extreme immaturity. The age was determined to be approximately 19 weeks and the gender was female.

The fetus was found on a conveyor belt at ReCommunity Camden, a recycling plant on the 2200 block of Mount Ephraim Avenue in Camden, by an employee at approximately 3 p.m. Thursday.
