Authorities in Newark request the public’s help in identifying a male suspect in connection with a robbery that occurred on Friday, March 31.
According to Newark Police, at approximately 4:45 p.m., Officers responded to Grumman Avenue near Parkview Terrace on a call of a robbery. Detectives investigating this incident obtained video footage of the suspect entering through a victim’s fence and striking and robbing the victim.
Police said the suspect was also observed fleeing the location by running across the street and through the backyards of area residents.
The suspect is described as a Black male, 5'10” tall, wearing dark-colored pants, a black ski mask, black "New Balance" sneakers, and a navy blue jacket with the American flag on the back.
