Authorities in Newark request the public’s help identifying the male suspect in connection with a business burglary that occurred on Wednesday, May 3.
According to Newark Police, at approximately 3 a.m., a shop in the 20s block of Green Street was burglarized.
Police say the owner observed that his valise, left inside the establishment and containing $4,000.00, was broken into and left in the alley, with the money taken.
Detectives investigating this incident report that the suspect fled to Newark Penn Station, where he entered a red Ford Explorer Taxi that headed west on Market Street.
