The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office, Cherry Hill Police Department and U.S. Marshals Service are seeking the public’s help in locating a Burlington City man wanted in a homicide.
Kevin Fentress, 21, is being actively sought by authorities for the murder of 17-year-old Jadyre Gordon of Camden.
Gordon was shot outside the Inn of the Dove in Cherry Hill located at 725 Cuthbert approximately 2:24 a.m. on February 28. Gordon and another victim were driven in a private vehicle to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden.
Gordon was transported from Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital to Cooper University Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 3:37 a.m.
The other victim, a 20-year-old Willingboro man, was treated at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital and later released.
Police determined the victims were shot inside a vehicle in the parking lot near the front entrance of the Inn of the Dove complex following an altercation at a party in one of the rooms.
Fentress, who goes by the name Kev and may have recently cut his hair, stands approximately 5’11’’ and weighs about 150 pounds. A photo of the suspect (see below) is currently being displayed on billboards around the area.
Fentress is to be considered armed and extremely dangerous and should not be approached by the general public.
