Police in Newark are investigating a Friday afternoon carjacking that happened in the city.
According to reports, police are on the search for two black males who were armed with a gun when they took a vehicle in the area of Meeker and Badger Ave. at around 2 p.m.
The carjacked vehicle is a silver 2014 Dodge Charger with a reported NJ license plate number "L30-ECU"
The suspects fled in an unknown direction.
There were no injuries reported.
