Authorities in Bergen County are actively searching for multiple suspects involved in an armed robbery that occurred at a hotel in Rutherford on Sunday evening.
At around 6:45 p.m., police were dispatched to the Meadowlands Hotel in the 800 block of Rutherford Avenue following reports of an armed robbery in progress.
Upon arrival, officers immediately alerted law enforcement in the area to be on the lookout for a group of 4-5 males who had fled the scene in a dark-colored minivan.
During the robbery, one of the suspects reportedly brandished a knife while confronting the victim. It is currently unclear whether any personal belongings were taken.
Fortunately, no physical injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
The investigation into this robbery is ongoing as authorities work to apprehend the suspects responsible.
