A strong armed carjacking reported in Elizabeth has police investigating.
The incident was reported at the WaWa's on Route 1&9 where the victim reported putting air in his tires at that location when a male suspect approached, then knocked him to the ground and made off with his vehicle.
The vehicle is a white BMW X5 last scene heading northbound on Rt. 1&9 reports said.
There were no weapons brandished according to the report.
The victim somehow made his way to a location in Newark where he contacted police.
The incident is under investigation.
