The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Little Ferry Police Department are investigating a serious hit-and-run motor vehicle crash that occurred early Sunday morning, July 14, 2024.
The incident took place at approximately 3:08 a.m. at the intersection of Route 46 East and Bergen Turnpike.
An occupant of one of the vehicles sustained severe bodily injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The other vehicle involved in the crash fled the scene.
The investigation is being conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck, and the Little Ferry Police Department, under the direction of Chief James Walters.
