There were no injuries in a shooting that happened in a Plainfield neighborhood earlier today.
According to initial reports from the scene, police were called to George Street after receiving reports of shots fired before noon today.
Multiple units arrived to the scene where they began a thorough canvas of the area in an effort to find injured victims and other evidence according to reports.
Police were able to locate at least one shell casing but there were no injured victims ever found.
Authorities are conducting an investigation into the shooting reports said.
