Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting of a 21-year-old woman in Camden just before midnight on Sunday, reported Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez.
According to officals, on Sunday, July 10, at 11:48 p.m., Camden County Police Department received a Shot Spotter alert in the 1500 block of Admiral Wilson Boulevard. Police officers responded to the area.
Police were later notified that the victim, Paopei Goodman, 21, was transported to Cooper University Medical Center.
According to officials, Goodman, of Camden, was pronounced deceased at 12:02 a.m. on July 11.
This investigation is active and ongoing.
