A fatal crash on the Garden State Parkway has police investigating this morning.
According to police, officers were called to area near mile marker 92 in Brick shortly after 5 a.m. for a report of a crash involving a Ford Edge and a tractor trailer.
Upon arrival, officer found the overturned Ford Edge on the right lane. The driver of the Ford was pronounced at the scene.
The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured, according to police.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld until next of kin is notified.
