A late night shooting in East Orange has police investigating.
Police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the 50's block of Main Street at around 10 p.m. where officers arrived at the scene to find the victim suffering injuries after being shot according to reports to reports.
The victim was transported to University Hospital in Newark suffering a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg reports said.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
There were no arrests immediately reported.
