Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Collingswood Police Chief Kevin Carey reported a Collingswood woman was killed in a stabbing incident last night.
Collingswood officers responded to the Heights of Collingswood Apartments, C Building, around 7:49 p.m. Monday night in reference to a domestic dispute.
Officers were directed by family members to a bedroom, were they located the 36-year-old victim, Joseline Perez who recently moved in to the apartment, with multiple stab wounds and her estranged husband Timothy Moorman, 41, of Washington Street, Camden, NJ, with self-inflicted wounds.
Perez was pronounced deceased at 9:52 p.m.
Moorman was transported to Cooper University Hospital in Camden. He is listed in critical condition.
Moorman is charged with first-degree murder.
His bail has not been set.
