Officials have identified the man fatally shot on Woodlawn Avenue in Jersey City last night as a 30-year-old Maplewood resident.
Authorities have released the identity of a 30-year-old Maplewood man killed after he was shot multiple times last night in Jersey City.
According to police, officers responded to the 30’s block of Woodlawn Avenue at approximately 10:20 p.m. for a report shots fired.
Upon arrival, officers found Kyell C. Jeter unresponsive after suffering multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
Jeter was transported to Jersey City Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at about 10:45 p.m., according to authorities.
The shooting remains under investigation. Adding that no arrests have been made as of yet.
