Authorities have released the identity of the 36-year-old man who was killed yesterday afternoon in Pleasantville.
Pleasantville were called to the 300 block of East Greenfield Avenue, after a 9-1-1 call was received yesterday around 1:29 p.m.
Upon arrival, police found 36-year-old Equallie M. Bumpass, of Pleasantville, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Bumpass was transported to the Regional Trauma Center at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 2:48 p.m.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Pleasantville Police Department continue the investigation and are awaiting autopsy which is scheduled for today.
