Authorities have released the of the 32-year-old man shot to death early this morning.
According to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, police responded to the area of Clinton Avenue and Grand Street on a report of shots being fired about 12:20 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers found Tyheem Williams lying in the street suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his upper body.
Williams was pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 10 minutes later.
The investigation is active and ongoing, according to officials.
No arrests have yet been made.
