Newark – Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray and Newark Police Director Eugene Venable announced today that the body discovered on South 11th Street has been identified as Pamela Davis, 50, of Newark.
Davis was reported missing by her family on Oct. 30. Just before midnight last night Newark Police were summoned to 803 South 11th Street because of a foul odor. There they found Davis’ body wrapped in a blanket in a garage.
The cause and manner of death are pending autopsy.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
