Attorney: Linden Cop in Wrong-Way Crash May Have Been Drugged by Strippers

Linden

The Linden cop, Pedro Abad, appeared in court this morning, where his attorney suggested that his client may have been drugged by strippers at the club prior to a fatal crash.

Mario Gallucci, Abad's attorney, asked the judge if he could get his client's blood sample from the prosecutor's office.

According to Galluci, after hiring and expert that determined that there's medical evidence that could be interpreted to indicate Abad was drugged with GHB (known date rape drug).

Gallucci added that he is currently representing another man who was allegedly drugged at Curves, prior to a fatal wrong-way crash on the same highway as Abad.

Gallicci also mentions yet another case were his clients were dancers at Score strip club and were charged with drugging male clients in hopes of making more money.

Several defendants in that case have already pleaded guilty, said Gallucci.

Abad's next hearing date was scheduled for Dec. 8., however, Abad may not be present at that hearing because he has a scheduled surgery for December 1.
