New Jersey State Police responded to a tragic motor vehicle crash in the early hours of September 7 at approximately 1:18 a.m.
The incident occurred on the Garden State Parkway North at milepost 63.4 in Stafford Township.
Officials from the New Jersey State Police are actively investigating the incident, which claimed the life of a 24-year-old Brigantine resident, Mr. Liam J. Powers.
Preliminary findings suggest that a Kia passenger vehicle, traveling northbound, veered off the roadway to the right, ultimately colliding with multiple trees.
The circumstances surrounding this fatal crash remain under investigation.
NJ State Police Detective Jeffrey Lebron confirmed that authorities are diligently working to determine the exact cause of the accident.
