An Atlantic City man is charged with aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child in connection to incidents he committed against a juvenile victim, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.
Authorities charged Santos Blanco, 41, with two counts of first degree Aggravated Sexual Assault, two counts of second degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child and one count of third degree Endangering.
Last month, Blanco was charged with aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of another child in connection to incidents he committed against a juvenile victim during the course of several years.
In connection to the charges in September, following a month long joint investigation with Detectives from the Pleasantville and Atlantic City Police Departments, detectives from the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit arrested Blanco on September 19th.
Last month, Judge Patricia Wild granted the State’s motion to detain Blanco.
Both cases are being prosecuted by Chief Assistant Prosecutor John Flammer.
These charges are merely an accusation and not proof of guilt. In all criminal cases, a charged defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
