Atlantic City Man Charged with Human Trafficking, Promoting Prostitution

Atlantic City

An Atlantic City man is charged with human trafficking and promoting prostitution, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.

Tahir Gregory, 38, of Atlantic City, was arrested Friday and charged with two counts of first degree Human Trafficking and two counts of Promoting Prostitution for forcing two separate women to engage in prostitution.

Following the investigation, search warrants were conducted which resulted in the recovery of over 100 bags of pure fentanyl and a handgun as well as several electronic devices.

The State will be moving for detention pending trial.

These charges are merely an accusation and not proof of guilt. In all criminal cases, a charged defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
