An Atlantic City man pleaded guilty on Thursday to first degree Aggravated Sexual Assault of a minor, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.
According to authorities, Darnell Luke, 26, admitted that in December 2015, he had a 7 year-old child perform a sex act on him.
Officials said Luke is scheduled to be sentenced in April before Judge Rodney Cunningham, who is expected to sentence him to a 15 years which he must serve in its entirety before he is eligible for parole and will be subject to Megans Law and Parole Supervision for Life.
These charges are merely an accusation and not proof of guilt. In all criminal cases, a charged defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
