Police in Asbury Park are investigating a stabbing that happened late last night in the city.
Reports of a seriously injured person in the 1400 block of Asbury Avenue sent emergency responders to the scene at around 9 p.m. according to reports.
EMS found the victim bleeding heavily after being stabbed in the shoulder reports said.
The victim was rushed to an area hospital where their injuries were not reported as life threatening.
The motive for the stabbing has not been reported and there were no arrests made.
