Two teens have been arrested in connection with an infanticide in Neptune Township, announced Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni.
Police charged Jada M. McClain, 18, of Neptune Township, with first degree Murder and second degree Disturbing or Desecrating Human Remains, and Quaimere Mohammed, 19, of Asbury Park, with second degree Disturbing or Desecrating Human Remains in connection with the death of a newborn baby.
An investigation is still active and ongoing at this time.

McClain and Mohammed are currently being held in the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in Freehold Township, pending an upcoming First Appearance
Despite these charges, every defendant is presumed innocent, unless and until found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, following a trial at which the defendant has all of the trial rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution and State law.
