Arrest Warrant Obtained for Woman who Allegedly Attacked Man then Stole his Car

There is an active search underway for a woman who is wanted by police in connection with an attack on a man then the theft of his vehicle in Newark on Tuesday.

According to police Ms. Raejean German, 20, of Newark is the woman police say is responsible for the incident.

Authorities say at approximately 9:40 a.m., the victim reported that he was threatened by a female and her armed friend who took his car after he ran off.

Police say the male suspect was described as 5’6” tall, clean shaven, and wore a black hoodie with white sneakers.

Detectives investigating this incident gathered sufficient evidence identifying German as the female suspect where they obtained a warrant for her arrest on the charges.

The investigation is active and ongoing.
