Police in Newark issued a warrant for the arrest of Mr. Jabari Carter, 32, of Brooklyn, on a charge of burglary under New Jersey’s Domestic Violence laws.
According to police, the incident occurred on Wednesday, April 4th, 2018 when at around 4:15 p.m., police responded to an East Ward residence on a burglary call.
Police say Carter broke into the victim’s apartment and stole cash and jewelry before fleeing the scene.
Detectives investigating this incident have identified Jabari Carter as a suspect in this incident and have secured a warrant for his arrest.
Police described Carter as 5’11” tall, 160 lbs. and has a dark complexion, brown eyes and black hair.
While police are actively searching for Carter, we seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing him from our streets.
