Authorities in Newark has issued a $50,000.00 arrest warrant has been issued for Paul Ribau, 20, of Belleville, in connection with armed robbery on Thursday, November 3, 2016.
According to police at approximately 1:10 a.m., a 24-year-old male victim was walking in the area of Heller Parkway and Summer Avenue when two suspects approached him.
One of the suspects pointed a handgun at him and demanded his personal items.
The suspects stole a cellphone and shoulder bag from the victim before fleeing on foot.
As a result of their investigation, detectives have determined that Paul Ribau is a suspect in this armed robbery. The Honorable Joanne Cocchiola, J.M.C., issued the warrant for his arrest today.
While police are actively searching for Ribau, we seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing him from our streets.
