There is an active and ongoing investigation underway into a robbery that occurred at a business in Elizabeth in Tuesday night.
Police were called to the Subway Restaurant located in the 300 block of Elizabeth Avenue after they received reports of an armed robbery in progress.
Units arrived at the scene found employees who reported that two males entered the establishment wearing bandanas then pointed weapons and demanded cash.
Police say the suspects fled the scene on foot then entered a dark-colored vehicle that sped from the scene.
There were no physical injuries reported.
