Police reported no injuries in an armed robbery incident in Jersey City late Saturday night.
At approximately 11:40 p.m., police were notified of a robbery in progress near the intersection of Colgate and 2nd streets.
Police arrived and were told by the victim that several male suspects approached armed with a gun and demanded cash.
The assailants took the victim's cell phone, several hundred dollars in cash and their wallet before fleeing the scene.
Police believe the suspects are African Americans, wore dark closing and possessed a dark handgun during the robbery.
The incident is under investigation.
