Police are reporting no injuries in a shots-fired incident that residence say occurred at a location in Newark's Central Ward Saturday evening.
According to police, residence in the 600 block of South 15th Street near Springfield Avenue alerted them of shots-fired that erupted in the area around 5:40 p.m.
Units that arrived at the scene were told that armed men in two vehicles drove through the neighborhood and began to exchange gunfire before speeding away from the scene.
Police say officers canvassed the scene, but no victims were found.
The suspects remain at-large.
