Police in Newark's East Ward are looking into a reported armed robbery that occurred Saturday morning.
Officers were dispatched to the vicinity of 57 Pacific Street after receiving reports of an armed robbery in progress.
An armed suspect approached a Hispanic male and demanded personal possessions before fleeing the scene with items.
Police reported no physical injuries in the incident.
