Authorities are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a man wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred yesterday.
According to police, at approximately 5:40 p.m., a black male entered Smart Talk Wireless, located at 456 Springfield Avenue, and robbed the employees of three new cell phones and cash at gunpoint.
The suspect then fled the store heading north on South 7th Street. He is described as about 6-feet tall and wearing a Yankees baseball cap, blue jeans, and a blue T-shirt.
While police are actively searching for this suspect, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing him from the streets.
