Authorities announced the arrest of Izaiyah Grissom, 32, who was wanted for an armed robbery that occurred on August 6th.
According to police, shortly before 12:45 p.m., two men walked into Gibson Auto Works, a business located at 14 E. Runyon Street, and robbed the owner and an employee at gunpoint.
The two males then fled the establishment on foot.
Detectives developed sufficient evidence to identify Izaiyah Grissom as a suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest.
Police arrested and charged Grissom yesterday with Robbery, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, and Conspiracy.
These charges are merely accusations. The suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
A second suspect remains at large.
